The WSPTA Board of Directors voted at its June meeting to oppose Initiatives 2109 and 2117, based on positions previously adopted by its members. Join us for a roundtable on October 8 from 7-8 pm to learn more about the initiatives and how they would negatively impact education funding. There will be opportunities to ask questions and learn more about how PTAs can take a position and share information on voting in November.

NOTE: This meeting has been rescheduled from the original date (Oct. 2) to honor the Rosh Hashanah holiday. If you registered previously, you do not need to register again. The Zoom link will remain the same.
Council’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee meets one Wednesday each month of the school year (with the exception of September and June) at 7 pm. During the 2024-2025 year, meetings will be held online via Zoom.
DEI chairs and other interested leaders from PTAs and PTSAs in the Lake Washington School District are invited to these monthly meetings to discuss DEI issues and advocacy initiatives that impact our students and families.
This month as we kick off our 2024-25 Lunch & Learn series, we want to know: What topics do YOU want to learn about with us this year? Join us on Zoom at noon on Thursday, Oct. 17, and let’s brainstorm and discuss together.
The Lunch & Learn series consists of short presentations and discussions on topics of interest to all community members, from noon – 1 pm on select Thursdays online via Zoom. Topics and featured speakers are subject to change and will be updated as they are finalized.
