Vote YES for Our Kids! The Lake Washington Citizens Levy Committee relies on parents, teachers, and community members to ensure we support LWSD kids at the ballot box this February.

LWPTSA Council endorses the levy, and we hope you will not only vote “Yes this February to help ensure that every student in LWSD learns in safe, healthy, and modern schools—but we also encourage you to show your support through the following advocacy actions:

Join In! Levy Volunteering & Election Night

Vote YES for Kids!

With only one day until the Election – voters have their ballots in-hand and the campaign is in full swing doing everything we can to maintain staff, programs and services that ensure students have the skills they need for their next step, whether that’s a two- or four-year college, a technical certification, or joining the work force.

Vote! If you live in LWSD, please cast your ballot (don’t wait and your yes vote will be counted in the Election Night tally). If you live elsewhere, please remind your friends and colleagues to vote yes on LWSD Prop 1 and Prop 2 (please vote on both sides of the ballot!)

Volunteer! Please join us at our upcoming volunteer events! Thank you to those who came to the January Levy Sign-waving Event!

Join us on Election Night! We’ll be gathering at the LWEA headquarters on Election Night to watch the results and show appreciation for everyone’s great efforts this year – please let us know by Feb. 6 if you would like to join: Feb. 10 Levy Election Night Party!

Thank you for your support! It will make all the difference as we ensure access to the programs, technology and facilities that support safe schools, strong teaching and opportunities for all.

A message from the LWCLC

Hello!

Ballots are hitting mailboxes this week, and the future of our schools is in our community’s hands. Levies aren’t abstract policy, they supply the funding that keeps classrooms staffed, technology current, buildings safe, and student opportunities thriving. These measures don’t pass automatically; they pass because people who care step up. That’s why your voice, your vote, and your support matter so much right now.

How you can help:

Volunteer: Like talking on the phone, waving signs, or ringing doorbells? We’ve got it all! Please sign up to join us at one of our January events:

Donate: Campaigns are expensive, if you are able, please consider donating to the campaign: Vote Yes for Lake Washington Kids! (actionnetwork.org)

Show your support of the Levy: Word of mouth is incredibly valuable, please visibly show your support and talk to your neighbors about why you’re supporting the levies!

Thank you for your time and support of the levies, it will make the difference as we ensure access to the programs, technology and facilities that support safe schools, strong teaching and opportunities for all.

Best,

Lake Washington Citizens Levy Committee
