Join us for our Level Up PTA 2024 Virtual Convention to connect with PTA leaders, parents and educators to boost your impact for every child in your community. At Level Up PTA 2024, we will celebrate the success of our PTAs in making meaningful partnerships and connections with families, educators and community leaders to achieve lasting change that will help every child reach their full potential. New this year for our virtual convention, we will have facilitated networking time, live business and voting, and a general education session on emerging issues facing our children and youth.
Convention will be our time to power up PTA with …
- Tips and tricks from PTA leaders on proven practices to help meet the needs in your school community
- Insight from education experts on how to enhance your efforts in your community
- Workshops that will transform your leadership and membership approach
More information about our convention, including frequently asked questions and expectations of civility, can be found at PTA.org/Convention.

We ask each of our local PTA presidents and their school principal to attend this yearly workshop, designed to help lay a foundation for the ’24-’25 academic year. We will cover the purposes and limitations of PTAs and school administrators, conflict resolution, and other topics to help PTAs and schools build strong partnerships.
We have revamped the event this year to be shorter, less repetitive, and with more time for networking.
One principal from each school is required to attend this event. PTA presidents should prioritize attendance. If your PTA’s president is unable to attend, another board member should be designated to participate.

Community partners will be set up in the lobby from 4-7 pm, and LWSD and PTSA speakers will be in the board room from 5-6:30 pm.
LWPTSA Council would like to support this event by once again providing free child care for participants from 4:45-6:45 pm. If you are interested in volunteering to help, please contact our FACE VP, Danish Majeed, at FACE@LWPTSA.net.
