WSPTA members and students are invited to put on their “PTA Blue” and join us IN PERSON in Olympia to advocate for children and schools with elected officials.

Gather in the Columbia Room to network and hear speakers. We will also be offering docent-led tours of the Capitol grounds. The event is from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm. The agenda with speakers listed will be added when available.

We are encouraging members to schedule meetings with their legislators this day (even if you need to schedule remote meetings). It is important to reach out to legislators as soon as possible, so here is a resource to help you with scheduling your meetings.

The financial management of the PTA is the responsibility of the entire board of directors. At this free training offered by WSPTA, learn the basic financial skills to manage and track PTA funds, online accounts, legal obligations to maintain your tax-exempt status and other considerations.
