This unique panel of experts include representatives from Kirkland Fire/EMS, Police, LWSD SROs, a Clinical Psychologist with Northwest University and a parent who has experienced the loss of his daughter to opioid abuse.

Suicide Awareness & Prevention @ Redmond High School

Learn How to Help Your Child or Friend Through a Suicidal Episode.

Speaker Peter Loft is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. He is a volunteer with the University of Washington’s Forefront Suicide Prevention. This talk is open to all parents in the Lake Washington School District.

LGBTQ Panel Hosted by LW Tech @ Online

This is a special invitation for LWSD community to listen to a panel hosted by LW Tech. Parents, caregivers and teens are welcome!

This Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) panel will provide insights into LGBTQ topics. Do you have a child or teen who is questioning their sexuality or gender identity? Do you want to better understand the LGBTQ community and how to support it? Panel participants will share some of their experiences and thoughts.
