Annual advocacy event in Olympia, WA.
Step up to advocate for kids, in person, to legislators!
WSPTA has selected January 26th-30th, 2026, for when we will sharpen our advocacy for our Top 5 legislative issues. During this week, WSPTA will send action alerts to members who have signed up to help. Each action alert will provide an easily customizable message that the system will automatically forward to your legislators on your behalf. It is easy to do, only takes a few minutes, and helps boost our advocacy efforts. Your voice matters!

Your actions throughout this week will be quick and easy but will make a tremendous impact. It will be so easy that you can take action from home, while waiting for a coffee order, or sitting in your child’s pick-up line! We also encourage you to share your advocacy work on your personal and PTA social media accounts throughout the week using the hashtag #WSPTAOneVoice.

Making Your PTA More DEI
DEI is part of every PTA’s work in service to families and students. These are not just buzzwords, but fundamental ideas that will ensure that your PTA is able to bring all voices to the table. In this session, you will learn some terms and definitions and some practical strategies for increasing this work in your PTA.
This official training will be led by LWPTSA Council, and will count toward your 2025-2026 training requirement.
