Parent Education Event – Online Safety @ Online via Zoom

LWPTSA and LWSD are excited to be hosting Stefanie Hanley on Monday, April 18^th at 7pm on Zoom.  Stefanie Hanley has over 11 years of experience working collaboratively with law enforcement across federal and local agencies regarding crimes against children online and other high-risk victims. She now uses this experience to educate parents and children about internet safety in her personal time. This presentation will cover: cyberbullying, social networking/online gaming, sexting, mental health aspect of internet safety, reality of teens as targets, screen addiction, and internet and cell phone safety tips.  Information provided at this event is for value to all parents – whether your student has a cell phone/internet access now, or you want to know how to keep them safe in the future.
