Join WSPTA to discuss financial reporting, document storage, and non-signer statement reviews. This roundtable is aimed at treasurers and others from your board of directors that have financial questions, including your non-signer that reviews your bank and online payment statements each month.

NOTE: This class was originally scheduled on 10/12 but moved due to a conflict.
This is the most important and useful class of them all, as it will prepare you and your fellow officers to run your PTA with an eye toward the important legal and fiscal requirements in running a nonprofit. PTA and the Law deals with state and federal rules and regulations relevant to running a charitable, tax-exempt, nonprofit corporation in the state of Washington, and will explain how these rules impact your PTA. PTA and the Law is a required class for at least one elected officer per PTA each year.

The 46th Annual WSPTA Legislative Assembly will take place October 26-27, 2024, in person at Seattle Pacific University. Delegates will discuss, debate, and vote on new issues and resolutions, including the adoption of WSPTA’s 2024-2026 Legislative Platform and Top Five Issues.
