In this session, you will learn some terms and definitions and some practical strategies for increasing this work in your PTA.
This official training will be led by LWPTSA Council, and will count toward your 2025-2026 training requirement.

Come learn the basics and why this is such an important committee—it’s part of the WSPTA Uniform Bylaws and Standards of Affiliation!

LWPTSA DEIB and Eastside for All Collaboration Presentation
Council’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee meets one Wednesday each month of the school year (with the exception of September and June) at 11:30 am. During the 2025-2026 year, meetings will be held online via Zoom.
DEI chairs and other interested leaders from PTAs and PTSAs in the Lake Washington School District are invited to these monthly meetings to discuss DEI issues and advocacy initiatives that impact our students and families.
