Gather in the Columbia Room to network and hear speakers. We will also be offering docent-led tours of the Capitol grounds. The event is from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm. The agenda with speakers listed will be added when available.
We are encouraging members to schedule meetings with their legislators this day (even if you need to schedule remote meetings). It is important to reach out to legislators as soon as possible, so here is a resource to help you with scheduling your meetings.
More details and information can be found on the Focus on Advocacy webpage

Special Education Group (SEG) meetings in 2023-2024 will be held in person at the LWSD Resource Center (16250 NE 74th St., Redmond WA 98052). An unstructured networking time will be held from 6:30 to 7 pm, offering an opportunity for members to connect with one another. The formal portion of the meeting will begin at 7 pm.
* If you require an interpreter or student care during our meetings, please contact us at specialeducation@lwptsa.net at least 3 business days prior to the meeting you plan to attend so that we can make arrangements for you.
Local PTA and Council leaders are invited to join our virtual roundtable to discuss the important topic of safety and inclusion at PTA-hosted events. This roundtable does not have an agenda; it is an opportunity for us to share ideas about how to make sure PTA and PTA events feel safe and inclusive for all families in our community. Please register for this Zoom roundtable and join us for this conversation.
