The Lake Washington PTSA Council Board meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month during the school year.

Founders’ Day 2022 will be a virtual celebration. To get involved email Founders’ Day Co Chairs Felice Nightengale and Deb Robinson at founders.day@lwptsa.net

Starting February 25th, join other LWSD parents and families in watching “Far from the Tree” an inspiring and heartwarming documentary film about families meeting extraordinary challenges through love, empathy, and understanding. Based on the award winning and best-selling book by Andrew Solomon.
Registered attendees will receive access to a link to view the movie during a 72-hour window starting on Friday, February 25th. The movie will be followed by a Round Table discussion for viewers on Tuesday, March 1st at 6pm on Zoom.

All local PTA leaders are invited to attend our monthly membership meetings held the first Thursday of the month during the school year. Each year three meetings are held in the evening. This year they are November, January and April.

This month we will be talking about how plastics are connected to our climate, ideas for Earth Day (April 22), and more. Community members are always welcome to come, listen, learn and contribute.
The LWPTSA Council’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee meets monthly and focuses on networking opportunities for PTA leaders, sharing of DEI resources, and helping PTAs find answers to their DEI questions. Local DEI chairs and PTA leaders are welcome to attend the committee meeting.
