Understanding Legacy: Disability Rights History in the US by Eric Warwick, Defending Democracy Fellow for the Western States Center.
Eric is a disability rights self-advocate and paraeducator based in Spokane and previously worked on education justice and disability rights issues in the Seattle area. The presentation will discuss disability history and its implications for the present-day movement to build towards disability justice.

The Lake Washington PTSA Council began its scholarship program over 35 years ago to assist graduating seniors and district staff with the costs of continuing education. Proceeds from this auction will keep this tradition going and fund these important scholarships. You will have access to bid on an array of experiences from the comfort of your home.
