Final DEIB Meeting of the School Year — May 6

As we approach the end of the 2025–2026 school year, I want to express my deep gratitude to everyone who participated in our DEIB workshops and meetings. As a parent whose family spans multiple marginalized communities, this work is deeply personal to me, and
learning alongside you has been a true highlight of my year.

Please join us for our final meeting on May 6 via Zoom. We will hold space for a respectful, open discussion on this year’s successes and identify our areas for growth. We will also begin brainstorming topics and goals for the upcoming school year.

I know how demanding this season is for everyone. Whether you joined us every month or just once, your presence is valued. I look forward to seeing you there with your ideas and "end-of-year" good vibes!

*Council encourages all local PTAs to have a representative of DEIB, advocacy or another leader attend DEIB meetings, where we discuss a variety of topics relating to diversity, equity and inclusion issues affecting our district and school communities.
