Who are the people in your PTAs, your schools and your neighborhoods whose volunteerism, advocacy, leadership and service benefit the children in our community and exemplify our PTA mission? LWPTSA Council Awards recognize individuals and outreach organizations whose service goes “above and beyond” the typical job description, and often exceeds our expectations of what service looks like. We invite everyone to submit nominations for these 2026 LWPTSA Council Awards:

Interested in joining the LWPTSA Awards Committee? We are looking for committee members for the 2025-2026 year. Committee members review all nominee applications and work together to identify winners. Committee members receive all nominations, review and evaluate. The committee meets virtually to decide winners. Any PTSA member is invited to join the committee, even if they have nominated people to win LWPTSA awards. Members of the Awards Committee are asked to recuse themselves only for voting on their nominees. Committee work begins January 12 and ends January 30 with a total time commitment of approximately 2-3 hours. To join the committee, please email Megan Seltirennikoff at Awards@LWPTSA.net.
