Deadline extended to March 17
In 2020, National PTA adopted guiding beliefs and definitions (English and Español) that articulate our commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion:
- Diversity is our strength.
- Collaboration must be inclusive.
- Equity drives our mission.
The Jan Harp Domene Diversity and Inclusion Awards honor PTAs that have put these beliefs into action and have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the areas of diversity, inclusion and anti-discimination efforts.
Last year, Peter Kirk PTSA was one of three nationwide winners to receive this honor! The application for this year’s Jan Harp Domene Awards is available. Council encourages our PTAs to consider applying. The deadline is 8:59 pm Pacific time on March 17.
Winners will receive a $1,000 prize, to be presented during the 2024 National PTA Virtual Convention in June.
