Last year Rockwell Elementary PTSA reached a point where their board was overstretched. They were at risk of cancelling and/or eliminating programs.
Instead of feeling frustrated, powerless or overwhelmed, the Volunteer Open House “was the brainchild of our amazing volunteer services VP Kainoa!”
Kainoa created this event to draw new volunteers. On 9/15/26 they held this year’s event! They had tables with sign-ups, a slide show dispelling “myths of PTA”. What a creative way to welcome volunteers! Way to go Rockwell Elementary PTSA!
