On June 19th, our school district community honors and celebrates Juneteenth (Freedom Day)—the oldest nationally recognized commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.
Juneteenth is a profound day of reflection, education, and celebration of Black history, culture, and resilience. It serves as a powerful reminder of our ongoing, collective commitment to building a school community rooted in equity and true belonging for every
student and family.

7th Annual Eastside Honoring Juneteenth Celebration:
