At our April 2023 membership meeting, Lake Washington PTSA Council awarded a You Rock! award to Samantha Smith PTSA in recognition of their annual Winter Wonderland event in December 2022. Smith student leadership stepped up their involvement this year alongside the PTSA leads to make the event better than ever.
The drive-thru light display celebrated holidays from around the world. In collaboration with the City of Sammamish, the team was able to collect and donate more than 130 toys for kids in need through Toys for Tots!
