LWPTSA Council is pleased to congratulate Juanita Elementary PTA and Lakeview PTSA, both of whom have been selected as recipients of program funding by National PTA!
Juanita Elementary PTA has been awarded a PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! grant to host an interactive program for parents and caregivers to engage in peer-to-peer conversations about screen readiness; become familiar with tools and resources that help determine screen readiness; and gain new ideas to promote a healthy digital home.
Lakeview PTSA was awarded a STEM + Families Propelling Our World grant to host hands-on engineering design challenges that bring students and families together. This program seeks to help all kids experience and explore activities and careers in STEM, especially those in skilled trades.
