View the slides from this event here.

This was our first in-person welcome event since before the pandemic, and we were thrilled at the turnout. More than 120 people came to learn more about LWSD, PTSA and Lake Washington Schools Foundation.

Two tables covered in blue PTSA tablecloths, laid out with an array of snacks.I’d like to thank my fellow Council board members—Kristen Dorwin, Manda Mangrai and Jo Sampaio—who volunteered their time that evening and worked hard behind the scenes to make the event a success.

Many thanks as well to my fellow presenters: Shannon Parthemer, Johnny Phu, Kate Atvars, Myra Arnone, Dale Cote, Nancy Colburn, Sandy Dennehy, Dr. Shannon Hitch and Dr. Jon Holmen.
